The following was dictated to me by Quinzy's new (to us) GMC Vandura (Vandero) van. He/she wanted me to post it as there is, as of yet, no Vandura blog.
A stout red sedan rolls on to my property. The evening sun reflects harshly off it's hood, temporarily blinding me.
I've known this was coming for a while (you don't get handled that well unless you're getting sold). Three strapping young lads step out. One I recognize. he has experienced my interior before.
The hairy ones come towards me, excited and well dressed.
The next 20 minutes is a flurry of doors and windows opening,chairs swivelling and reclining, and people saying "looks great!". The three lads finally go into the house with mr. Livingston, and before I know it I'm being driven away by the short one. I find out his name is Jason. His right foot is gentle and supple.
I will miss my previous owners, But these Quinzy's seem like nice fellows. I'll keep you posted. That's all Vandero had to say at the moment. I'll let you know when we find out it's gender. Sort of a "baby's first" book except with our van.
